Ivan Dragičević is the son of Zlata and Stanko and was born on May 25, 1965, in Bijakovići (one of five hamlets in the Parish of Medjugorje). After finishing high school, Ivan become a caterer. He still has daily apparitions, and Our Lady has confided nine secrets in him so far, as well as a prayer intention to pray for young people and priests. Our Lady also asked him to establish a prayer group. In his youth, Ivan felt called to the priesthood and attended seminary in both Visoko and Dubrovnik. But, feeling misunderstood, he left. In 1989, in Medjugorje, he met American Laureen Murphy, whom he married in 1994. They have four children: Kristina Marija (1995), Mikela (2000), Daniel (2001), and Matthew (2008). They live in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as in Medjugorje.
